In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top social networking apps on the iOS platform in Ukraine displayed varied performance trends. Insights from Sensor Tower reveal interesting patterns across the board.

Threads maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads fluctuating between 30K and 42K. The app saw a peak in active users reaching around 895K in mid-December, indicating a consistent user base throughout the quarter.

WhatsApp Messenger experienced steady weekly downloads, starting at approximately 25K and ending the quarter around 26K. Active users showed a gradual increase, peaking at 1.45M by the end of December.

Telegram Messenger observed a significant rise in weekly revenue, starting from $231K and surging to over $662K by the end of the quarter. Downloads remained stable, with a slight increase towards the end of December, while active users hovered around the 5M mark.

Rakuten Viber Messenger demonstrated consistent weekly revenue, averaging around $11K to $13K. Downloads picked up towards the end of the quarter, reaching over 20K. However, active users experienced a slight decline, closing at approximately 4.4M.

Google Meet saw a decrease in weekly downloads, starting at 16K and dropping to 6K by the end of December. Active users followed a similar trend, declining from 235K to 87K, indicating a decrease in user engagement.
